Celebrate: Jim's Story

Jim's Story was written by Dr. Jeanette Holden about her brother Jim who is diagnosed with Autism. Some families have written to us to let us know how much this story has meant to them so we have included these below. To read Jim's Story, click here .

"Thank you so much for sharing Jim's story. It is too easy to think that my severely-delayed and non-verbal child doesn't understand much, as that is the way it appears to be. Jim's story is truly inspiring and reminds me to never underestimate my son and to never give up. Thank you, thank you!"

"I just want to thank Jeanette for sharing the wonderful story of her brother. It is not only wonderful for me to hear as the mother of a non-verbal autistic teenage boy - but also as the mother of his wonderful twin sister, who celebrates every tiny triumph with him. Thank God for sisters!"

"Everytime I read about Jim's progress it just sends shivers up and down my spine. I'd like to thank all of you for your dedication to the people near and dear to us all."
